WHERE'D WE GO WEDNESDAY?

JULY 12, 2017

Today the camp slept in and woke up to the final trip day of first session, donuts were distributed and rumors circulated of where we would adventure to. The only hint for Juniors - pack a swim suit, sunscreen, and towel. When we arrived at Bousquet Mountain, the boys started to talk excitedly as they saw the waterpark, golf course, and go-kart race track. Mini golf was a huge hit, one of our counselors sunk 3 hole-in-ones in a row! The tube slide was also a crowd favorite as campers did their best to stay on top of their tube as they got to the end of the slide. Campers and counselors flashed down the Speedway Slide as they drifted around corners. Together we ate lunch under the pavilion and the boys had some time to go the game room and cafeteria. Ping Pong and foosball games started and treats devoured. Everyone left happy as we put another successful trip day in the books!

Our LSR boy's made the switch, as the Navajos went to Ramblewild and Cheyenne's to FunFlex Fun Park. Ramblewild is an adventure tree course about 30 minutes from camp. It was awesome! The grounds were spectacular and the boys really enjoyed themselves. Our Cheyenne's went to Funplex Fun Park, they ran around climbing rock walls, playing mini-golf, riding go-karts & bouncing on trampolines.

Cherokees went to Zero Gravity and played a series of laser tag. The boys played four or five rounds with random teams, blue and red. Adam Johnstone had the highest accuracy in counselors, Asher kornfeld with campers. Then they did a campers vs. counselors game, campers won! After a long day of competition, they bused back to the Albany mall and to relax and watch Spider-Man in the cinema before heading back to camp for dinner.

Algonquins arrived at gokarting at Noon and raced for two hours solid in small groups. The track was a circle but the cars were fast and everyone enjoyed so much they couldn't get off! Max Monson, Juan Pablo and Zach Samuels were fastest and Archie won most creative driver. They later joined the Cherokee's at the cinema and saw Spiderman before returning for dinner.

Our Seneca's grabbed some food then hit the arcades. A lot of quarters lost, prizes won and treats bought- shockingly no one bought a fidget spinner! The boys then played 18 holes at one of the world's best, crazy, golf courses. The group made a bet before the round started and Desi Avidane and Counselor Steven Jaap landed in the dining hall singing Taylor swift to camp at dinner for losing. The whole camp loved it! Sean Leddy won best Counselor, Aiden Anderson was 2nd best camper, Fishberger won overall. Before getting on the bus, a quick stop to the ice cream parlour was a perfect way to end the trip.
