Our final days of camp are filled with laughter, joy, fun, and a lot of Hollywood...
After a day of regularly schedule activities, kids got ready for our two big, end of the summer events - the Film Festival and the Banquet.
All the kids dressed in their finest wear outfits and headed to the banquet. Anyone who had pink was encouraged to put it on as this year's theme was...Barbieheimer.
Ironically, as our kids have been screen-free since June, we had to explain this double-header movie phenomenon sweeping America to many of our campers. But they ALL knew about Barbie and the pink and festive spirit was everywhere.
Senecas and counselors had time to prepare, and some even came as "Barbie and Ken".
We also held our film festival - the big moment for our kids who've been working on films all summer to showcase their talents. We had so many amazing pieces, but the big winners were Ari Goran, Max Smith, "Kung Fu Josh", Josh and Sam Seigel. (apologies for any spelling errors, the news is coming hot off the wire).
We also had our "programmies" and called out certain campers who'd shown especially strong growth in areas like leadership, friendship, certain activities and more!
