Today was the first day of Olympics, and that was all anyone did, talked about, breathed, or thought of.

Eight countries took the stage for three days of exciting competition. The countries (and their witty, self-given nicknames) are:

North Macadonia (North Mask-Edonia

Vanuatu (Darth Vanatu)

Kyrgyzstan (We're still Kyrgyzstanding)

Astonia (Cold-Stonia)

Djibouti (Djibouti and the Beast)

Ukraine (Purple Ukraine)

Uzbekistan (Lil Uzibekistan vs the World)

Paraguay (Para-Grey's-Anatomy)

Day one was non-stop activities from sunrise to sunset, which included:

TJC/LSR:

Beach Soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, Archery, and softball.

USR:

Tennis Davis Cup, Basketball, and track meet.

The afternoon was comprised of two, mixed-age events - the five-stop, land and water Pentathalon, and the Biathlon.

Evening activity was our opening ceremonies (we know...timing is a little off), where the Senecas were honored for how long they've been coming to camp. The residencies ranged from five years to nine years.

After that, the Senecas and Counselors played an intense arena soccer game, and their teams furiously cheered them on!

Raw eggs, protein shakes, and any sign of weakness.
