It was a beautiful day at Mah-Kee-Nac, we've had cooler weather and sunny skies. Perfect for camp adventures!

Activities were spread out today - lots of swimming in the pool, tennis, and archery with Rudy.  Rudy is our longest-running staff member, he's been at camp for 49 years. The kids love archery, but they also really respect and admire Rudy and love spending time with him and hearing his stories! 

Lots of Trampball today, as always - the weather was perfect for jumping, throwing, and catching.  

Evening activity consisted of fun, outdoor games. TJC played kickball which is always such a great way to get a little competition in without anything too intense, being as no one is a professional kickball player... 

LSR had some fun with eggs. First, they played a game called "Protect the Egg."  In this, the kids had to construct a protected shell out of paper and drop an egg from a ladder and see if it would crack. Science is fun! 

Next, they did the egg toss which started short toss, then went as long as throwing across a basketball court. 

USR played Manhunt- like a scavenger hunt for their counselors, who are hidden around camp.  

These are the last few days of regular program, everyone can feel the excitement before Olympics, just waiting for the big reveal!

• Dinner: Shepherds pie, turkey and gravy, potatoes, and green beans.
