Another beautiful and busy day of activities and regular programming.  The campers know they've only got a couple of weeks left and they're trying lots of new stuff all around camp to make sure they cover it all! The adventure team worked on their fire building skills, really trying to perfect this task before summer is out, so they can survive in the wilderness once they're back at school...

We wished goodbye to our Mini-Mac one-weekers, all of whom can't wait to come back for a full session next summer!

Some of our kids have signed up for the film festival and are really enjoying the work.  They each have to write their own story, make a list of shots, do the camera work, and edit their feature (with some help).  The only rule is that their movie has to have a beginning, middle, and end.  The final pieces will be showcased for the whole camp.

For evening activity, the Senecas had a cookoff in the kitchen (note to parents, your teens can cook now, so feel free to put them to work at home).  Eight teams of two were put to the test to create a great dish that would impress the judges and

'bring them to flavortown."   The big winners were team Isaiah and Andrew who made a delicious steak and mushroom dish, utilizing the secret ingredients - corn muffins and Papa John’s Garlic Sauce.

The Upper Seniors played Tape Ball while the Lower Seniors and TJC played "Paint Twister."  It was messy and silly and tons of fun.
