"If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball."
- Patches O'Houlihan, Dodgeball

If there are scholarships for Dodgeball, then you can thank MKN Summer 2021 for giving your kids a free college education.  We've got some serious pros on our hands, and they're hungry for more!

Today was a modified rainy-day schedule. When it only drizzled, we could stay outside. Various stations were set up including a ping-pong tournament, dodgeball in the field house and a watermelon tournament (not eating). The watermelon game entails players bouncing a kickball off the wall and, ducking under it and when it comes back and yelling “watermelon”. Then, the next player in line can either duck as well or try to bounce it off the wall again. If it doesn't reach the wall after one bounce, that player is out.

We also had our ropes course open, some intense beach volleyball, and the football leagues played in USR and LSR.

Later in the afternoon, the kids held a raucous LipSynce Battle and had tons of fun acting and "singing" their hearts out.

Evening activity was all about baseball. We let them watch the MLB Home Run Derby in Kruger lodge, and then they had a competition of their own. Various baseball stations were scattered around campus to choose from. One was for pitching, another was a timed run around the bases, another was focused on tagging out, and the last was - of course - a Home Run Derby of their own.

The non-baseball fans shot some hoops on the basketball course.

To the campers, who have learned to live with (and barely even notice) the not-so-great weather. They play outside, they play inside, they don't care. They're clearly just happy to be here!
