The boys had a nice loose-goosy kind of day.
We divided them up by campus (TJC/LSR/USR), and they got free time to simply play. Many went to the pool - noodles in tact- and had fun. Others played games like quickball and spike ball.
The kids were chill and relaxed - we had them right where we wanted them. Because, immediately after dinner, Green & White (our version of color war) broke out!
Everyone was surprised and pumped. They all received their team T-shirts and gathered as a team.
We began our multi-day competition with two activities last night.
The first game was "Football catching" (a very technical name). The Quarterback threw to selected players on the team and the first team to make 25 catches won. This one went to the white team.
The second activity was a big game of Flag Football between the Senecas and the counselors. The rest of the teams cheered loudly from the side lines. The game was intense, and Green team took the win.
So, it was 1-1 going into Tuesday morning's games.
Stay tuned for more coverage of Mah-Kee-Nac's annual Green and White games.
