The rain rolled in today and it was a welcome break from the heat.

 

We were able to start the morning with regularly scheduled programming - basketball, baseball, tennis and more.

The survival skills team began their work in the Bullard Woods. The kids played hide and seek (because you never know when a bear might count to ten and shout "ready or not, here I come)." 

They also loved doing tic tac toe in the dirt. It can be so  wonderful sometimes to just let kids play in the dirt and see where their imaginations take them.

Some campers squeezed in a round of Trampball just as the sun went behind the clouds.

The rain came right around campus time, and the kids were happy to relax, sit on their porches talking and watching the rain drops.

The weather turned to a thunderstorm, so we decided to order pizza for everyone and let them stay inside. 

Upper seniors went to watch "Shrek" in Kruger Lodge, 

Upper juniors played a game called Panic where they get to act out in front of their fellow campers,  and lowered juniors played a quiz game, then went to senior lodge and played tag.
