THE NEWS
We started the day with our second Polar Bear Plunge. A nice 7 a.m. brisk lake wakep!
Today also marked the second day of our 24-hour Film Fest with Greg. Over the last two days (OK, it's more than 24 hours) a handful of campers took part in creating a camp film, which we'll share when its ready. The young filmmakers loved scouting locations and moments that signify all that MKN means to them!
In the afternoon, we held the Stockbridge Series Disc Golf Tournament. The totals will be tallied with the other activities - Marathon and Tramp Ball - to announce a Stockbridge winner at the end of the session.
B8, B9 and B10 all went to camp Pontiac for a tennis tournament and they brought back a win!
And we wished a fond farewell to our Mini Maks. Mini Mak, for those who don't know, is a one-week introduction to sleepaway camp for kids who have never been. It's a great way for younger campers (and first-time parents) to get familiar with the camp experience in a short amount of time.
