THE NEWS

Today was sunny and cool. We began the day with our annual lake swim, a one-mile swim that benefits SCOPE, an amazing organization that raises funds to send kids to camp from under-resourced communities.

Meanwhile, our golf team went off to Greenock, and the rest of camp had a normal day of program. It was nice to have everyone back together, and campers got to enjoy their scheduled activities and after a week of trips. Algonquins worked on some banquet prep! During periods 4 and 5, we held a big water polo lesson and game. Anyone who signed up was split into 2 teams at the pool, where we played water polo. Everyone had fun!
Evening activity was our friday night huddle.

This week, the value we discussed was Shared Pride. After the huddle, we had Brother-Brother, which was when our boys with siblings at camp got together to make (and eat) S'mores.
