THE NEWS

The weather was beautiful today - sunny and breezy, the perfect setting for a host of special events.

One of which was a summer favorite - the annual USR NCAA flag football tournament. Each team was named for a real college and went through the brackets, until we had a final four: Michigan vs. University of Illinois and Wisconsin vs. Indiana. The winners - Michigan and Wisconsin went to the finals, and Michigan took the big W.

Meanwhile, Apaches has a basketball Tournament, which was so close it went into overtime until Apaches won in the final moment.  
And Navajos had a great baseball tournament.

The campers who didn't compete in a tournament enjoyed sunshine and time on the lake.
Evening Activities:
TJC enjoyed a fun campfire cookout. LSR and the Cherokees had socials with Danbee. And Algonquins enjoyed grilling and chilling on the beach after a long, hard fought day of football!

• Dinner - Hibachi Steak and Chicken, veggies, fried rice.
