The final day of Green & White was one for the books.

The day began "All or Nothing" which consisted of G&W teams splitting into smaller teams, and sending their teams to different games. Events included racing around a circle, musical chairs, tag, and many others. Teams would play their assigned games for 10 minutes each, then would switch to a different assignment. After that, we moved over to the pool for Synchronized Swim, the Belly Flop contest, and Boat Tug-of-War. For Synchronized Swim, the chosen performers were given a 30-minute time period while the rest of their team played All or Nothing to choreograph and practice their swim routine. Green took the win for that one. For Boat Tug-Of-War, White team won. Finally, for the Belly Flop contest, 3 staff members from each G&W team went head to head to see who had the best belly flop. White took the win.
After lunch and a short rest, the teams moved on to Sudden Death. The game consisted of many different sports, where  teams only played for one point. There was volleyball, street hockey, swim relay, golf, Watermelon, soccer, archery, basketball, football, and more. White took the win for this, putting them in the overall lead.

Then, everyone moved to Royal Rumble Dodgeball, which requires every member of the G&W teams to give it their all. The campers met at the fieldhouse, and one by one, players were sent into the fieldhouse to play, until everyone was called in. It was a close game throughout, but after a LONG game, Green took the win! This put Green back into the lead, which means they had a head start going into the evening.
After dinner, everyone could feel the end drawing near. USR began gathering sticks for their team’s Senecas to use during the evening's annual rope burn.  The rest of camp was called to the fieldhouse to watch the short films and “Instagram reels” that each team had prepared, as well as their “Instructed Aerobics Class”. Green took the win for the Aerobics and short film, and White took the win for the instagram reel.

Then, everyone gathered at the sand courts for the intense, yearly Rope Burn. The Rope Burn is a right of passage whereby Senecas - our eldest campers - must build a fire that reaches a ten-foot rope. The first rope to burn is the winner of Rope Burn. Going into the event, Green had a 90-second  lead which meant that even if White's rope burned first, Green had an extra 90 seconds to catch up.

Both teams of Senecas worked hard - employing different strategies and fire building burning skills, while their teams cheered them on and completed challenges to win the players things like extra wood and flint.

With an amazing and giant fire, White’s rope burned first. Green tried their best, but when their 90 seconds was up and the rope was still intact, White team was officially declared the winners of Green & White 2025. White team raced to the rock, which is painted each year in the winning team's color. They celebrated and cheered amongt smoke and white paint. Then the whole team went back to the sand to stand arm in arm with their brothers on the Green team as they waited for the Green rope to burn. All of the boys supported each other through a range of emotions.
