  • Mae E & Jack A for leading the green team with heart and dedication.

The weather was gorgeous - sunny and clear - for our third and final day of Green & White.
And G&W was the activity all day and night.

We started with "All or Nothing", which are small-sided games where you either quickly win or lose points from your team.
Then we moved to our famous annual synchronized swimming & belly flop contests - a mix of laughter but also very serious dedication to these events, as well as the
"head coach tug of boat" event.
In the afternoon, we moved to "Sudden Death"  - One-point events where the first to score wins the competition and a point for their team.
Then, we did Centipede  - a human chain navigating thru a maze - where the whole team has to work together.
And finally, the Royal Rumble Dodgeball game - the entire team participates and it all comes down to the last camper standing.

Evening Activity was our Program finales - both teams presented their short films and original “Family Trip” Instagram reels.
As we went into The Rope Burn — the final event of Green & White, the event that Senecas watch, plan, dream about and prepare for years ahead of time, the They went into Rope Burn with  3:28 lead, meaning even if Green burned their rope first, it had to be 3:28 minutes ahead of White's rope for Green to win.

Both teams built immaculate fires directly under the center of their rope. The Senecas worked their hearts out, even having to step away when the fires got too big and hot. The ropes looked neck and neck, but White eventually burning their rope first - about 30 seconds before the Green team.

As their rope dropped, the white team ran to our rock and painted it White for the 2nd year in a row - our yearly tradition that shows who won G&W each year.
