This morning we bid goodbye to our two oldest bunks as they left for exciting journeys. Senecas woke up at 2:30 in the morning to head out to Costa Rica for a week while the Algonquins went to Boston.

The rest of the campers got to sleep in! Once the day began, we had the first portion of our annual Stockbridge Series - the Stockbridge Marathon. "Stockbridge Bowl" is the name of our lake, which is the name comes from.
The series is four big events over the course of the summer, which are tallied at the end to declare one big winner.
The Marathon is a 1.3 mile course through the woods with many hills and twists and turns. Most campers and staff participated in the marathon. Some ran, some walked, and some cheered their friends on, but they all finished big!
After the big run, we had a free time type of afternoon - campers wrote letters then got to play on their campuses - basketball, Spike Ball, pickleball, Gaga and the like.
We also had a few tournaments. The Chess Club went to Camp Taconic and came in second place! There was also a Tennis Tournament at Taconic for all ages tennis - singles and doubles. All of our players did extremely well!

For evening activities, TJC went to see the Tri-City Valley Cats baseball game - a professional team based out of Albany in the Frontier League! LSR had a fun ice cream Party and a big game of Escape - similar to “prison break” in a way. And they enjoyed being the 'big men on campus' as most of the Upper Seniors were out of town.
