Today was our first official "Founder's Cup" day.
The Founder's Cup is an ongoing competition that runs throughout the first session of camp, and ends with a big finale to declare the winner.
Every camper is placed onto one of four teams: Lilley, Kruger, Rudolph or Metzger. Keep an eye on our photos and look for your son's shirt color, then you'll always know which team to watch during Founder's Cup events!
After the boys were sorted into teams, we held the first event - Behind Enemy Lines, which is basically Capture the Flag. We then moved on to an Obstacle Course followed by a continuous, 4-way soccer and frisbee tournament.
Next up was Monkey in the middle to round out the day. The campers got to break for dinner, then they were back to it for evening activity, which was the final Founder’s Cup event of the day - the "Whatever It Takes" relay. And the campers did...whatever it took... to win!
