Today was our first tournament, the B9 boys had a baseball game against Camp Winadu. Tournaments are organized by grade, not age, so "B9" means boys going into ninth grade. Boys can play up if they want (i.e. they can be a year younger than B9), but they can't play down.
The team gave it their best try, and it was a very good game. Our boys struggled a little bit with getting their footing when batting, and we ended up losing 0-7. Winadu is known for their baseball, so all in all, it was not a bad start to the season - they'll get 'em next time!

The rest of the campers did their usual programming.

Evening activity was pretty exciting for the Mohicans and Cheyennes, who had their first social at our sister camp, Danbee as well as the Navajos who hosted their own social at camp. The Cherokees went to mini golf with the girls, and the Algonquins went bowling with the girls. TJC stayed in and played Majority Rules!
