Another gorgeous day here in Lenox, MA and oh, how we started the morning!
Today was our first polar bear plunge! The plunges (we do a few every summer) are open to anyone who wants to participate. Those who decide to go for it wake up around 7 a.m. and jump into the lake for a very brisk good morning. While the daytime temps have been getting into the 80's here, we've had some cool mornings, so jumping into fresh lake water that clocks in at around 72 degrees isn't easy!
The rest of the day was another great lineup of activities - from swimming to rock climbing to sailing to floor hockey. Everyone is having a lot of fun!
As evening rolled around, the LSRs put on their spiffiest clothes, combed their hair (possibly for the first time in days) and had their first social with our sister camp, Camp Danbee.
